Tips and suggestions for your stay in the region can be found here:
Fashion brand, natural paradise and holiday region – Lake Chiemsee attracts interest in many different ways. Water sports activities such as surfing, sailing, kiting and scuba diving on or in the clear water make even the most closed visitor’s heart beat faster.
Herrenchiemsee Castle or the local King Ludwig II Museum promises top-class historical and cultural experiences. As the lovely islands in the lake cannot be reached via bridges, there is no getting around a romantic trip with the boats of the Chiemsee- Shipping Line
The longing for the mountains is perhaps as old as mankind itself. The Wendelstein rack railway, which went into operation in 1912, on the 1,838-meter-high mountain of the same name is a special kind of ascent aid for guests.
The wildly romantic Berchtesgadener Land lies in the extreme south-eastern corner of Bavaria, surrounded by mountains rising steeply into the sky. Everyone knows the fjord-like Königsee with its legendary echo. Major sporting events take place every winter at the Eisarena am See. The xx towers above the region at a height of 2,713 meters, making it the second-highest, but no less beautiful, of the German mountains. On the Obersalzberg above Berchtesgaden, you can come to grips with parts of the National Socialist history of Germany.
Literally a stone’s throw away from the Berchtesgadener Land one reaches the Mozart city Salzburg. The work of one of the greatest musicians of all time has left its mark on more than the confectionery department here.
